Every firefighter carries a story. This custom engraved metal artwork brings that story together in a one-of-a-kind tribute created from your photographs, personal details, and vision.

Each commission can incorporate the firefighter’s profile, helmet or department insignia, crew, engine or apparatus, landscape, meaningful symbols, and a personal message. Rather than simply engraving one photograph, I compose the elements into a unified scene designed around the person being honored.

Begin with the original Wildland Firefighter design and personalize the profile, profession, wording, or selected details.

Commission a Fully Composed Tribute
For a more detailed piece, I can build a completely custom scene from multiple photographs and stories. The featured ENGB Rutherford promotion tribute combines his profile and helmet insignia with his crew, engine, mountain fireline, personal message, and a subtle phoenix woven into the scene.

How the Process Works

1. Send several clear photographs when possible. A recognizable side profile is especially helpful.
2. Tell me about the person, profession, occasion, and details that matter.
3. I compose the artwork and work with you to refine the story before engraving.
4. The finished design is engraved into black anodized aluminum, producing striking silver and gray detail.

Because every commission is different, design time depends on the photographs provided and the amount of customization requested. Simpler personalized versions may require approximately two weeks before shipping; deeply customized compositions may require two to four weeks depending on the complexity.
